Welcome. Our retreats offer something a little different.
Rather than asking you to push yourself or meet expectations, they are designed to help you slow down and feel safely held, with warmth, care and acceptance.
Wise Women retreats were created for women who are feeling exhausted, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves. Many people arrive feeling depleted; they often leave feeling steadier, more grounded and more able to meet their lives again.
Throughout the retreat you are supported by restorative yoga, therapeutic group work, ritual, rest, time in nature, and nourishing vegetarian food. Everything we offer is intended to support your nervous system to settle, helping your body and mind return to a more balanced state.
Our qualified psychotherapist Miriam leads the group work, creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages an internal sense of security and resilience. This is complemented by gentle, restorative yoga, guided by an experienced teacher, using simple postures that support relaxation and remind the body of its natural capacity for health and ease. The practices are not about effort or endurance, but about rest, regulation and listening inwardly.
Alongside structured sessions, there is generous free time to rest, enjoy the surrounding countryside, or take part in optional afternoon activities such as sensory walks or mindful crafting. We also pay close attention to the physical environment, offering warm, comfortable spaces and carefully prepared food to support you fully.
Each retreat is held with care and attention, and we take time to understand what support will be most helpful for you, allowing space for you to let go, rest deeply and reconnect in a way that feels right.
